     Position Overview:

    The San Francisco office currently has an excellent project analyst opportunity in its Cash operations. The analyst will have day-to-day responsibilities supporting currency high speed processing, currency paying/receiving and coin paying/receiving functions in Cash. In addition, the analyst will participate in or lead various projects as assigned and will provide research, troubleshooting and data analysis as needed.

    Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in or lead projects and perform analytical tasks in support of Department, Division, Bank, or FRS goals and initiatives
  • Oversee system/physical access for the operation
  • Provide oversight to the office’s administration and accounting function
  • Maintain thorough procedural knowledge of specific areas of assignment and maintain proficiency with software and business applications that are needed to support assignments
  • Generate reports utilizing data mining and reporting tools
  • Provide troubleshooting support to all areas of the operation
  • Train colleagues in the operation and throughout the Bank
  • Conduct tours of Cash
  • Prepare proposals and procedures
  • Coordinate and collaborate with department, Division, Bank, or FRS management and staff
  • Serve as a key contact for inquiries from management and staff
  • Participate in compliance efforts and ensure successful audits
  • Participate in workgroups
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Proven technical proficiency and knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, browsers, basic Internet navigation, and downloading/installing software
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Able to work with little instruction/supervision on day-to-day work, and with general instructions on new assignments 
  • Able to exercise common sense judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
