Research Technician I

Overall Purpose: Our engineering team has built the largest private Medicare marketplace in the country. Duties: Responsibilities will include produce, store, dispense and inventory Cell Banks for global CHO and E.coli production activities. Provide samples to QC for bank characterization to support cell bank release and registration, transfer banks to manufacturing sites for storage and use, prepare preliminary banks for R & D support, maintain equipment and environment in cGMP compliant state. Data entry and filing will also be required. Sporadic weekend work may be required.
Prior Experience Working With A Variety Of Tissue Culture Lines: Adherent and suspension, as well as serum-free adapted lines is preferred. Knowledge of aseptic technique and GMP is also preferred. Experience with Excel is preferred. The position requires a highly motivated, independent, detail oriented team player. Good organization, initiative, and a collaborative attitude are essential.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related field.
